Job summary

Rentokil Initial is seeking a Pest Control Technician to join our field team covering the Isle of Man. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided, with you managing your own schedule and solving customer problems in person.

You will build strong customer relationships while inspecting premises, addressing pest issues, and delivering practical advice on hygiene and maintenance. A full UK driving licence and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at level C/4 or above is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years.
• DBS check may be required depending on role.

Responsibilities

• Inspect customer premises for signs of pests and identify risks.
• Tackle pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behavior.

The Role

Your role as a Pest Control Technician will involve covering a dedicated geographical area and providing support to our customers by resolving their pest issues. Key responsibilities include:

• Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
• Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
• Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
• Completing accurate reports after every visit.
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Educated to GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at level C (Grade 4) or above is advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
