Job summary

Rentokil Initial Lincoln branch is hiring a Technician to deliver on domestic and commercial projects. You will perform preservation works, support damp proofing, and advise customers while maintaining on-site safety. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week, with overtime potential and a clear salary package.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience as Labourer/Tradesman in property or construction is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out preservation works on site, including timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Assisting with damp proofing and removal of wall coatings and treatments.
• Advising customers and delivering a high level of service on domestic and commercial jobs.
• Following risk assessments and health & safety measures; leaving sites clean and tidy.
• Demonstrating flexibility with working patterns and passing a DBS check if required.
• Overtime and bonus/commission opportunities available.

Technician Role

As a Technician, you will play a key part in delivering work for our customers on both domestic and commercial jobs. Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out preservation works on site which could include stripping and replacing timber floors, door frames, architraves and windows.
• Supporting with damp proofing and removing of wall coatings including plaster, woodworm treatments, wall tie installation and cavity drain membrane installation.
• Offering valuable advice to customers and providing a high level of service.
• Adhering to all risk assessments and health & safety measures on-site.
• Ensuring any sites are left clean and tidy.
• Completing other required tasks within the branch as required.
• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• Experience working as a Labourer or Tradesman within the property or construction industry would be advantageous.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.
