Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of audiovisual integration experience is preferred.
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

  • Setup/breakdown of conference spaces for customer events.
  • Provide field service support of networked devices and troubleshoot systems.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams for effective service delivery.

Skills

What You’ll Do

The Onsite Support Technician will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on-premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s), aiming to deliver a world-class Customer Service experience.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:
  • Setup/breakdown of conference spaces to meet the customer's event needs
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to maintain customer spaces
  • Support tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner
  • Provide field service support of networked devices
  • Collaborate professionally with internal/external teams
  • Understand and adhere to local safety standards
  • Provide job site documentation and end-user training as needed
  • Setup and troubleshoot audio/video/presentation systems
  • Travel to various job sites as required
Considerations:
  • Work hours and locations may vary based on client needs, including travel.
  • Work environment may resemble a construction site.
Requirements
Must-Haves:
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of signal flow for audio, video, and control systems
  • Valid Driver’s License and a clean Motor Vehicle Record

  • Physical ability to climb ladders and lift equipment
