We are currently recruiting an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join our team at Chesham Sewage Treatment Works, HP5 1TH. The role involves working across various sites in the Colne North area.
The successful candidate will ensure that all equipment at our sewage treatment works operates safely and efficiently, utilizing proactive and reactive maintenance methods. Responsibilities include inspecting, maintaining, fault diagnosing, testing, installing, modifying, or repairing electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
Within the maintenance team, you will follow robust planned maintenance schedules, participate in minor installation projects, conduct electrical fault finding, and handle emergency breakdown repairs to ensure continuous plant operation.
Base Location: Chesham - HP5 1TH
Working Pattern: 38 hours, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 3:36 pm, plus standby and overtime opportunities, increasing earning potential by approximately £8,000-£10,000.
All PPE, tools, vehicle, and fuel card are provided.
