Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for our Mansfield/Vauxhall franchise. You will service, repair, and diagnose faults, perform health checks and ensure vehicles meet safety standards.

We offer manufacturer training, clear career progression, and a comprehensive benefits package. Working hours are Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, with 42.5 hours per week and a dedicated aftersales team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of practical experience in a workshop environment.
• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
• MOT Licence would be preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults to manufacturer standards.
• Perform visual health checks on vehicles.
• Ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy, meeting customer expectations.

Are you an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician, who can carry out general servicing and maintenance on vehicles with basic diagnostic skills who is looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out visual health checks
• Ensures vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations, supporting the Pentagon Group's reputation for excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• MOT License would be preferable but not essential
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
