Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group is hiring a Vehicle Technician in Sheffield on a full-time, permanent basis. You will perform servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards and conduct visual health checks to ensure safety and roadworthiness.

The role requires a Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent), a full UK driving license, and at least 3 years in a workshop. MOT license is a plus. Salary ranges from £32,500 to £36,500 with potential OTE beyond this depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• MOT License would be preferable but not essential.
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment.
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points).

Are you an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician, who can carry out general servicing and maintenance on vehicles with basic diagnostic skills who is looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? What You’ll Be Doing:

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out visual health checks
• Ensures vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations, supporting the Pentagon Group's reputation for excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• MOT License would be preferable but not essential
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)

Working hours – Monday – Friday 08.00 – 17.00 – 42.5 hours
