Job summary

Pentagon Motor Group in Mansfield is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to perform servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards, working with an established brand and supportive team.

The role offers a starting salary from £32,500 to £36,500 depending on experience, with an on-target-earnings potential of around £42,500, and a comprehensive benefits package including 30 days holiday, pension, life cover and employee assistance.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• MOT licence preferable but not essential.
• At least 3 years of practical workshop experience.
• Takes pride in their work and works well in a busy team.
• Full UK driving licence (maximum 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults to manufacturer standards.
• Carrying out visual health checks.
• Ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy and meet customer expectations.

Are you an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician, who can carry out general servicing and maintenance on vehicles with basic diagnostic skills who is looking to join a supportive team, progress your career and work with an established brand? What You’ll Be Doing

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately to manufacturer standards
• Carrying out visual health checks
• Ensures vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and meet customer expectations, supporting the Pentagon Group's reputation for excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified to level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent
• MOT Licence would be preferable but not essential
• At least 3 years of practical experience working in a workshop environment
• Takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a busy team
• Full UK driving license (max 6 points)
