Shifts: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) | Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM | Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Salary: £39,000+ (Salary negotiable depending on experience)

Objective: Nexus Packaging Limited manufactures HDPE (plastic) containers for chemicals. The technician will assist engineers in ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of equipment during shifts at Nexus Packaging Ltd's extrusion blow moulding operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, quick response to breakdowns, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in the production of chemical containers/bottles. Opportunities for additional training and qualifications will be available.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Equipment and Machinery Management: Monitor performance, assist in routine maintenance, and make mechanical adjustments to optimize efficiency.
2. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
3. Technical Support and Guidance: Assist in training operators on equipment usage and basic maintenance.
4. Quality Assurance: Ensure production meets quality standards and identify factors affecting quality.
5. Safety Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, promote safety culture, and ensure proper PPE use.
6. Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively across shifts, suggest improvements, and coordinate maintenance activities.
