Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking an experienced Technician in the Crawley area to diagnose faults in electrical and electronic products, repair and test equipment, and support custom builds. The role requires strong wiring diagram skills, practical soldering experience, and a diligent approach to quality and safety.

You will work Mon-Fri with either 7:30am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:00pm shifts, with opportunities for progression as the company continues to grow. ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing faults in electrical/electronic products.
• Strong knowledge of wiring diagrams and electronics diagnostics.
• Practical soldering and repair experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and methodical fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults on small electrical/electronic products.
• Repair and maintain equipment per manufacturing guidelines.
• Test products and perform QA checks before dispatch.
• Work on custom builds and project-based work.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Solder and perform electronic repairs.
• Identify faults and complete repairs efficiently.
• Ensure work complies with health and safety requirements.

Technician

diagnostics and repairs, with a good understanding of

wiring diagrams and soldering.

Responsibilities of the Technician:

• Diagnosing faults on small electrical and electronic products.
• Repairing and maintaining equipment in line with manufacturing guidelines.
• Testing products and carrying out quality assurance checks before they leave site.
• Working on custom builds and project-based work.
• Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
• Soldering and carrying out electronic repairs.
• Identifying faults and completing repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
• Carrying out other duties in line with the operation and your role.

Requirements of the Technician:

• Previous experience in a Technician, Electronics Technician, Repair Technician or similar role is prefferred.
• Strong knowledge of wiring diagrams and electronic diagnostics.
• Practical soldering and repair experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to fault-finding.
• The ability to work quickly, safely and accurately.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and health and safety.
• £38,000 per annum

Monday to Friday working hours.

Choice of 7:30am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:00pm shifts.
