Job description

Prentice Portadown are delighted to be able to offer openings for qualified technicians to join our team due to workshop expansion and the addition of a new workshop facility opening March 2025.

Positions are dependent on experience and qualification, all include strong basic salaries, uncapped bonus structure, with the further opportunity of increased overtime rates of pay.

OTE £37,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on experience)

Full manufacturer training provided with fast-track options for experienced technicians.

30 days annual leave inclusive of statutory entitlement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Carry out vehicle service in line with manufacturer standards.
2. Ensure all paperwork is fully complete.
3. Work with workshop team to deliver all KPI’s.
4. Deliver exceptional customer care.

Essential Criteria

1. Minimum 1 year post apprenticeship experience.
2. Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
3. An in-depth knowledge of modern motor vehicle technology.
4. Experience in vehicle diagnostics.
5. Keen to progress in a franchise dealership.
6. Seeking a long term career in the motor industry.
7. A full, valid and clean UK Driving License.
8. Ability to work in a busy environment.
