Position

We are seeking to appoint a well organised and proactive Technician to join our Care and Early Years department.

Salary

Salary: Scale 4 starting at £26,402 (FTE £30,288)

Scale 6 - Starting from £31,754 (FTE £35,520)

Hours

Full time, term time only at 39 weeks

Responsibilities and Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be motivated, enthusiastic and have good knowledge of the care industry.
• As you will be working with staff, students and external companies, you must have excellent communication skills, be flexible and have a 'can do' approach to work.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge is extremely important in this role as you will be responsible for ensuring that the learning environment is safe for everyone who enters it.
• You will be willing to undertake training that the college requires you to do to fulfil your role as a Technician for the Care Academy.
