SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Environmental Chemistry Technician to support production-driven laboratory work within a UKAS accredited environment. You will extract samples, assist in training colleagues, and uphold quality, safety and compliance standards to ensure accurate analysis.

Job Description

Are you interested in laboratory? This could be your opportunity to excel as a Technician, playing a vital role in supporting SOCOTEC's continued success.

We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and flexible Technician to join our Environmental Chemistry team. In this role, you'll need the confidence to lead by example in a production-driven laboratory. A strong understanding of UKAS quality systems and Organic extraction procedures is essential to thrive in this position.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Extraction of samples and completing benchwork
• Supporting team leadership and prioritising workloads, including training other members of the team
• Maintaining laboratory quality, safety and compliance standards

Qualifications

To be a successful Technician, you should be able to demonstrate:

• Observe all HSE protocol
• Observe all quality protocol
• Good timekeeping
