Job summary

Otis is seeking a maintenance mechanic for a site in Sellafield Cumbria to ensure safe operation of elevators and escalators for passengers and stakeholders. You will perform maintenance visits across your territory, respond to breakdowns, and liaise with customers on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 and/or 4 in lift service, maintenance or installation.
• Hold a driver's license.
• At least 5 years of experience in the elevator sector.
• Good skills in electricity and electrical engineering.
• Safety-first professional.
• Comfortable communicating with others.
• Curious, adaptable, and able to work alone or in a team.
• Comfortable using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 100% of the elevator maintenance and service visits of the units within your territory.
• Work within your defined geographical area / territory, managing the portfolio of elevators within it.
• Respond proactively and quickly to fix any breakdowns, aiming to achieve first time fix.
• Carry out minor repairs to achieve continual operation.

About the Role

What you will need to be successful

• NVQ 3 and or 4 in lift service, maintenance or installation.
• Hold a drivers license
• You have at least 5 years of experience in the elevator sector
• You have good skills in electricity and electrical engineering
• You are a committed professional, with safety as your priority
• You are comfortable communicating to others
• You are curious, adaptable, and you know how to work alone or in a team
• You are comfortable using electronic and digital tools.
