Vehicle Technician
Charles Hurst Specialist Division
Monday-Thursday 8.15-5pm, Friday 8.30-4. Saturday 9-1pm on a rota basis (1 in 4)
OTE up to £42,600, including £34,000 basic per annum + £6,600 bonus potential + extra £2,000 for EV qualification

Charles Hurst, Specialist Division is recruiting for a Technician to join their fantastic workshop. While working alongside our other experienced technicians, you will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting vehicle services, and carrying out any additional repairs. We want to be as inclusive as possible and we welcome flexible working hours.

Here at Charles Hurst, you will be reporting to the accomplished David Ritchie, where you will be given on-going support to ensure that you have the tools needed to be able to perform to the very best! Our technicians play a vital role within our Service team by delivering first-class customer service every time. If you’re a qualified Vehicle Technician or an experienced Mechanic, whether you work in a dealer group or independent garage, we want to hear from you!

Working for a specialist team means mastering elite engineering, working with cutting-edge performance, and being part of an iconic automotive legacy.

1. Carrying out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
2. Conducting vehicle service in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines and customer requests
3. Carrying out any additional repairs once authorised by the customer
4. Warranty repairs are per the manufacturer’s guidelines and relevant write-up is complete
5. Taking the customers' vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
6. Completing all relevant paperwork to a high standard

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a workshop. You'll be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn, while being able to work to the highest standards. You will require a full UK driving licence and completion of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification. An MOT licence would be a bonus!

Having previous experience of working with the brand would be advantageous, although not essential as full brand accreditation training can be provided.
