Job summary

Polypipe Building Products, part of the Genuit Group, seeks a hands-on Training Centre Lead to design and deliver practical programmes on plastic plumbing, drainage and low-carbon heating across the UK.

You’ll develop blended learning, align content with Building Regulations and the Future Homes Standard, mentor staff and coordinate with awarding bodies to maintain accreditation. This role shapes industry training standards.

Qualifications

• Experience developing training courses or workshops from technical documentation.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Experience managing a training facility or operational site, including health & safety oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver practical training programmes covering full product portfolio.
• Ensure training content aligns with UK Building Regulations and Future Homes Standard.
• Develop blended learning content, including videos and webinars.
• Collaborate with marketing to create technical content for digital platforms.
• Lead design and continuous improvement of the training centre and facilities.
• Manage day-to-day running of the facility, schedules, stock, and safety compliance.
• Maintain training rigs and equipment to high safety standards.
• Lead and mentor the Associate Trainer and team.
• Act as main contact for awarding bodies to maintain accredited status.
• Monitor training effectiveness via feedback and assessments.
• Represent Polypipe as a brand ambassador at events.
