Job summary

A leading insurance organisation in the City Of London is seeking an Acturis Software Trainer. The role involves designing and delivering Acturis training for users with varying levels of experience. Candidates can be either experienced trainers or Acturis users looking to transition into training. Strong hands-on Acturis experience, effective communication skills, and a genuine interest in learning & development are essential. This role offers an exciting pathway to contribute to the training initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Acturis training experience is a bonus but not essential if you have the right attitude.
  • Ability to communicate with different stakeholders is necessary.
  • Experience in delivering training to various experience levels is ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deliver and improve Acturis training across the business.
  • Deliver training to users at different experience levels.
  • Create and update training materials and eLearning content.
  • Assess training needs and tailor sessions accordingly.
  • Support users post-training and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Work closely with stakeholders across the business.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in the design, delivery and continuous improvement of Acturis training across the business. This will include:

  • Delivering Acturis training to users at different experience levels (classroom & virtual)
  • Supporting system rollouts, upgrades and enhancements
  • Creating and updating training materials, guides and eLearning content
  • Assessing training needs and tailoring sessions accordingly
  • Supporting users post-training and feeding back improvements
  • Working closely with stakeholders across the business
Who We're Looking For

We’re open to two types of background:

  • Experienced Software / Acturis Trainers
  • OR
  • Acturis Users from the Business (brokers, ops, admin, system SMEs) who are confident with the platform and would love to move into training

You’ll ideally have:

  • Strong hands‑on Acturis experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Confidence presenting to individuals and groups
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • A genuine interest in learning & development

Previous training experience is a bonus - but not essential if you have the right attitude and system knowledge.
