ICL Boulby is looking for a Technical Trainer to join the Training Department, delivering health and safety training in a mining and port environment. The role involves analyzing and improving training for operations while ensuring safety aligns with our core values.
The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial training, preferably in manufacturing or engineering, and will hold a Certificate in Training Practice. Opportunities to deliver training in unique underground facilities are available.
An opportunity to join an established team delivering health and safety training to a large operational workforce at our sites at Boulby and Teesdock. You will contribute to the analysis, design, delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of training and development activities for ICL operations.
As one of our Technical Trainers you will join our Training Department based at Boulby. Working within a mining environment and also at a port, this is an opportunity to deliver a broad spectrum of training and possibly deliver some of it in our unique underground training rooms if you wish. Being a major hazard environment, safety is core to our values of safe, certain and sustainable and why we continually look to improve and develop our training offering. You will develop training / learning interventions that are aligned to the NOS (national occupational standards) and all applicable legislation and support, produce training manuals, modules, and SOP’s for ICL Boulby operational areas.
We are looking for someone who ideally comes from delivering training in an industrial setting such as manufacturing, construction, processing or engineering and familiar with mobile plant, engineering and process plant operations. Ideally you have experience with learning IT systems. To be able to achieve these goals we are looking for the following skills and requirements:
