£37,500 rising to £39,000 + 4-Day Working Week + Company Van + Quarterly Bonus + Further Qualifications + Career Progression + 20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Do you have hands-on experience training or assessing Confined Spaces?
Are you looking for a role where you can use your experience to develop others, work predominantly from one location and enjoy a genuine four-day working week?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing specialist safety organisation that provides technical training, equipment, servicing, manufacturing and rescue services to some of the UK's largest industrial organisations.
The company has grown year-on-year and has ambitious plans to reach £30 million turnover by 2030, alongside continued expansion of its UK depot network and international operations. Training is a major part of the organisation, with specialist facilities supporting customers across nuclear, utilities, steel, petrochemical and other safety-critical industries.
This particular position is based from a dedicated training facility supporting one of the UK's largest infrastructure and energy projects, where approximately 80-90% of your training will be delivered locally.
That's a major attraction for someone coming from nuclear, power generation, oil & gas or industrial services. Rather than spending your working life travelling around the country, staying away or moving from project to project, you'll have a consistent base while still working in a highly technical and safety-critical environment.
You'll also have the benefit of being able to park directly at the site, with the classroom and specialist Confined Space training facilities just a short walk away - avoiding the lengthy transport arrangements typically associated with major infrastructure sites.
The organisation's core expertise is Confined Space training, which will make up the majority of your workload, alongside areas such as Working at Height, Harness and Fire Watch training.
They don't expect you to arrive knowing every course they deliver. The most important thing is that you have a strong foundation in Confined Space working or rescue and understand the equipment, procedures, regulations and realities of working in these environments.
You'll then receive an intensive shadowing and development programme, working alongside experienced trainers before being signed off to deliver independently.
The organisation genuinely invests in its people. Existing trainers have been supported through additional Assessor, IQA, First Aid and specialist instructor qualifications, allowing them to become increasingly multi-skilled as their career develops. Longer term, there are opportunities to take greater ownership of a training depot, become involved with specialist rescue operations or progress into Quality Assurance and Lead IQA responsibilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to remain within a technical industrial environment while gaining greater stability, work-life balance and long-term career development.
We are an equal opportunities company and welcome applications from all suitable candidates
