Job summary

Sopra Steria Ltd is seeking a Technical Test Lead to own and drive testing across complex infrastructure and systems environments in the Aerospace, Defence and Security sector. Gloucestershire location with a mix of onsite and home-based working.

You will lead a team of Technical Test Analysts, shape test strategies, and provide estimates for testing activities while promoting efficient testing methods. Strong stakeholder engagement and hands-on leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Test Lead or similar testing leadership role.
Strong infrastructure testing or systems engineering background.
Experience with Azure DevOps or Jira for test management.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and coordinate a team of Technical Test Analysts to deliver high-quality testing outcomes.
Produce test strategies, review test plans and guide creation of test cases and test scripts for infrastructure environments.
Provide estimates for technical and specialist testing activities and support delivery across functional and non-functional testing.
Drive continuous improvement by applying industry best practice and evaluating test tools.
Manage test environments, coordinate testing activities across stakeholders and facilitate defect resolution.
Produce test reporting, test completion reports and escalate risks that could impact quality or delivery timelines.
