About the Role
Croydon Council's Development Management Team is responsible for the full range of planning applications and consents. We are seeking a Technical Support Officer to join our Development Management Technical Support Team, and support the planning service in processing applications. This role is pivotal in supporting our service as we enhance our digital capabilities to better serve Croydon residents and businesses.
As our Technical Support Officer, you will provide essential technical assistance to ensure planning applications are processed efficiently, records are maintained accurately, and our systems operate effectively.
We are willing to consider full time, part-time and flexible working.
Key Responsibilities
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Knowledge of planning legislation, local government operations, and experience with planning-related systems (IDOX Uniform) would be advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
