Job summary

Vivid Resourcing Ltd in the South East is seeking an Environmental Health Technical Support Officer to join the Regulatory Services team on a part-time basis. You will act as first point of contact for public enquiries, assist EH Practitioners with investigations and inspections, and process licensing applications.

This initial contract opportunity offers varied duties across environmental health, licensing and public protection, with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in Local Authority Environmental Health or Regulatory Services.
• Strong administration and customer service skills.

A local authority in the South East is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Technical Support Officer to join their Regulatory Services team on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within Environmental Health, Licensing, Public Protection or Regulatory Services who is looking for a varied role supporting frontline regulatory teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Acting as the first point of contact for public enquiries via phone, email and face-to-face contact.

• Supporting Environmental Health Practitioners with investigations, inspections and case management.

Experience Required

• Previous experience within a Local Authority Environmental Health, Licensing, Regulatory Services or Public Protection team.

• Confident communicating with members of the public and internal stakeholders.
• Experience processing licensing applications would be highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of Environmental Health, Food Safety or Licensing services is desirable.
