Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Technical Support Engineer – Drainage Systems in Hemel Hempstead. The role covers service and installation support for drainage pump solutions, providing technical guidance to M&E contractors and consultants across sectors.

You will build strong customer relationships, prepare quotations and tender submissions, and collaborate with engineering teams to meet client needs while identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Must have technical, estimating or engineering experience within pumps/related market sectors.
• Ideally hold an engineering qualification.

The role of the Technical Support Engineer – Drainage Systems will involve:

• Technical Support Engineer position dealing with the service and installation for a range of drainage pump solutions
• Provide technical advice and product solutions to M&E contractors and consultants across multiple sectors
• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, from enquiry to order completion
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure client needs are met
• Proactively identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts

The ideal applicant will be a Technical Support Engineer – Drainage Systems with:

• Must have technical, estimating or engineering experience within the pumps, heating, ventilation, wastewater, sewage, mechanical or related market sector
• Ideally will have an engineering qualification
• Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Able to work within a team and individually
• Confident and articulate
