Job summary

GMP Recruitment are partnering with a leading manufacturer in Droitwich to recruit an International Service Engineer on a full-time permanent basis. The role involves extensive worldwide travel (approximately three weeks out of every four) with an annual salary up to £40,000 and a strong benefits package.

The successful candidate will install, commission and service high-precision instrumentation and automated gauging systems, supporting customers globally and maintaining high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong engineering knowledge with fault-finding ability.

• Possess a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing, commissioning and servicing specialist instrumentation and automated gauging systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Delivering user training and technical support to customers.
• Producing detailed service documentation following each visit.
• Building strong customer relationships and ensuring outstanding service levels.
• Identifying potential opportunities for product upgrades or additional services.
• Supporting customer demonstrations, product trials and testing where required.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety on-site and abroad.

This isn't your typical field service role. You'll travel internationally to support customers across a wide range of industries, installing, commissioning and maintaining cutting-edge equipment while representing a respected global brand.

International Travel

This is a genuinely international position, with the expectation of travelling approximately three weeks out of every four, both across Europe and worldwide. The remaining week is office-based, allowing time to complete reports, prepare for upcoming projects and collaborate with colleagues.
