Surrey Heath Borough Council is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Support and Compliance Officer to join the Building Control team. You will deliver core technical support functions and lead the administration of the new Building Safety Levy, ensuring compliance with statutory deadlines.

Excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to interpret plans and regulations are essential. You will work within a supportive team and contribute to professional budget control and audit

Qualifications

• Experience in Building Control or a similar regulatory service.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret plans, legislation and technical information.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core technical support functions within Building Control.
• Lead the administration of the Building Safety Levy.
• Support BSR reporting, audit readiness, financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Meet statutory and regulatory deadlines.
