Job summary

London Borough of Bexley is seeking a Building Control Compliance Officer to investigate alleged or identified non-compliance with Building Regulations and dangerous structures.

You will manage cases from initial investigation through to resolution, including enforcement action and cost recovery where appropriate, while building strong relationships with internal teams and external partners and offering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in building control and knowledge of building regulations.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management.
• Ability to pursue enforcement actions and cost recovery where appropriate.
