Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Guildford is seeking a Technical Supervisor to coordinate FM and Technical Services to meet SLA and KPI targets. The role focuses on delivering all FM operations on site and supporting 3rd party maintenance activities.

You will ensure QHSE compliance, act as part of the site emergency team, supervise contractors, manage audits, and provide cover for the operational team. Proficiency in CAFM/MS Office and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a technical qualification (Electrical/Mechanical/Gas/AC).
  • Strong awareness of facilities management industry and on-site procedures.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, BMS/HVAC systems and compliance records.
  • Proven experience coordinating contractors and suppliers to deliver integrated services.
  • Good administrative, planning and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent communication across levels and service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate FM and Technical Services to meet SLA/KPI targets.
  • Monitor 3rd party maintenance activities and report corrective actions.
  • Ensure QHSE compliance per SLA and client standards.
  • Act as Fire Marshall or emergency team member when required.
  • Audit engineering teams and sub-contractors; manage weekly toolbox talks.
  • Organise tasks for engineers and ensure proper documentation.

Job Title - Technical Supervisor
Job Description

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. The successful candidate is responsible for the coordination of FM & Technical Services to site to meet SLA requirements and key performance indicators.

Role Summary:
  • Primary focus on delivery of all FM Operations in accordance with KPI & Output measurements
  • Support / Monitor 3rd party maintenance supplier activities when required and report any corrective works arising
  • Comply with QHSE requirements as outlined within the SLA
  • Act as a part of site emergency team i.e. Fire Marshall, as required for emergency control activities
  • Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies in relevant books / documentation
  • Ensure all contractors, under sphere of control, operate within appropriate H&S processes and client HSE standards
  • Conduct monthly self-assessment SLA checks in support of quarterly contract performance requirements
  • Responsible for the image and visual standards of the site/s taking ownership of any issues or concerns
  • Provide flexible support to the FM Operation areas as
  • Deliver goods received to correct destination / person
  • Approve invoices, goods received notes and statements for payment purposes
  • Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns, ensuring customer is kept appraised at all times
  • Act as deputy in the absence of line management
  • Provide and arrange cover for the operational team as defined by line management
  • Other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined
  • Present and record weekly toolbox talks and efficiently convey relevant information
  • Ability to organize and issue tasks to engineers and to carry out checks through the auditing system
  • Carry out audits on engineering team and sub-contractors.
  • Be part of the site on call team for OOH cover
  • Survey and quote for additional works and repairs
Experience Required:
  • Hold a technical qualification for example (Electrical/Mechanical/Gas/A/C) but limited to
  • Knowledge and awareness of the facilities management industry
  • Knowledge and understanding of various technical working of site equipment (Electrical, Mechanical, BMS and HVAC)
  • An understanding of compliance and the ability to monitor and up-date records
  • Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service
  • Strong PC skills - MS Office
  • Experience with CAFM systems
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Good administrative skills
  • Well organised
  • Good prioritization and planning skills

  • Ability to communicate at all levels
