IFF, based in Haverhill, United Kingdom, is seeking a QA professional for a fixed-term maternity cover. The role focuses on maintaining top-tier food safety, quality and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.

You will support audits, manage QMS documentation, and drive continuous improvement across SAP QM and related systems. On-site, temporary role with opportunities to lead compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Certified Internal Auditor qualification.
• Food safety and hygiene certification.
• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRC, and AIB standards.
• Experience in quality assurance, food safety, or quality management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SAP QM module.

Responsabilités

• Support local audits by authorities, customers, and third parties to ensure compliance.
• Perform internal audits per the schedule and QMS requirements.
• Maintain and improve QMS documentation.
• Coordinate Food Safety training across the site.
• Create and maintain registers for materials and processes as required.
• Conduct traceability exercises and support compliance activities.
• Maintain SAQ records within SEDEX platform.
• Perform trend analysis and reporting to drive improvements.
• Complete allergen reviews in SAP for new materials.

The role is based in Haverhill, United Kingdom (on-site role) and is an opportunity of a fixed term basis to cover a period of Maternity leave. Where Your'll Make a Difference

• Support local authority, customer, and third-party audits to ensure ongoing compliance with site standards.
• Perform internal audits in line with the audit schedule and Quality & Food Safety Management System requirements.
• Maintain and continuously improve Quality & Food Safety Management System documentation.
• Coordinate Food Safety training activities across the site.
• Create and maintain Glass and Brittle Plastic Registers for manufacturing plants.
• Conduct traceability exercises and support product and process compliance activities.
• Maintain Supplier Assurance Questionnaire (SAQ) records within the SEDEX platform.
• Perform analytical trend analysis and reporting to support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Complete allergen reviews in SAP for new materials introduced to the site.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Certified Internal Auditor qualification.

• Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, British Retail Consortium (BRC), and American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards.
• Experience working within quality assurance, food safety, or quality management systems.

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills with a decisive approach.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
