Job summary

Mattinson Partnership is seeking a Technical Specification Lead to oversee the centralised technical group in the UK, driving specification standards and leading the CAWS to Uniclass transition in line with Building Safety Act, BIM, and industry best practice.

Reporting to the Head of Technical, you will develop master-specs, coordinate with the digital/BIM teams and mentor staff while shaping practice-wide standards on major UK and overseas projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive UK construction/ specification experience.
• Strong understanding of Uniclass, Building Safety Act and BIM.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead practice-wide transition from CAWs to Uniclass 2015 using cloud-based spec platform.
• Develop master-specs and establish processes for creation, review and issue of specs.
• Act as lead specifier on major projects and mentor wider teams.
