Job summary

Inclusion IQ, in partnership with a global infrastructure leader, seeks a Specification Engineer to provide technical CAD support and design optimisation for consultants, contractors and asset owners in the United Kingdom. You will translate client requirements into robust layouts focusing on sustainability, buildability and installation speed.

The role is technically focused on design, engineering support and digital engineering, with responsibilities including AutoCAD design, BIM library

Qualifications

Civil Engineering qualification required (HNC/HND or equivalent).
1–3 years civil engineering design, BIM coordination, or technical support experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit or Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

Design and layout optimisation of buried cable routes and utilities.
Maintain and manage the BIM and Digital Construction Library.
Review orders and design, validate, and optimise project layouts using AutoCAD/BIM.
Conduct structural and load calculations to ensure compliance.
Generate material schedules, installation guides and specification documents.
Provide technical guidance, support product development and literature.
Manage digital assets and version control for engineering and commercial teams.
