About the Role

We are looking for talented, curious and creative individuals to join the diverse community of makers and practitioners that make up our Technical Community at Nottingham School of Art & Design.

As part of our Immersive Technology Team, you will support innovative creative practice across a range of specialist areas, including Virtual Production, Extended Reality (XR), 3D Software, Motion Capture, Projection Mapping and Volumetric Capture. You will bring a strong foundation in 3D software and real-time engines such as Unreal, alongside a learner’s mindset, integrity, curiosity, empathy and a passion for critical thinking and creative problem-solving.

Our technicians support specialist facilities within the Design & Digital Arts building and across City Campus, providing expert guidance to students and staff. You will join a dynamic team of practitioners and work alongside a diverse and highly creative student community, with opportunities to develop your own practice and technical expertise.

No two days are the same. Your role will involve:
