Job summary

Talos is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to lead technical implementations and connectivity integrations for institutional clients and trading counterparties. You will manage end-to-end onboarding of exchanges, liquidity providers, and institutional clients onto the Talos platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and successful deployment of our trading infrastructure.

This is not production support; it focuses on implementation and proactive client leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in client onboarding or implementation within capital markets or financial technology.
• Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead stakeholders through structured implementation processes.
• Experience working with institutional trading systems, market connectivity, or financial infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of SQL and command line environments.
• Familiarity with configuration management, source control, and basic scripting (Python preferred).
• Exposure to FIX protocol, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end onboarding process for clients and trading counterparties, from kickoff through successful production deployment.
• Lead technical integrations involving APIs, FIX connectivity, and platform configuration.
• Partner with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, and external stakeholders to deliver implementations on schedule.
• Manage onboarding timelines, track milestones, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
• Configure and validate client environments across Talos’ modular trading and portfolio systems.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolution with internal engineering teams.
• Develop and maintain onboarding documentation and integration best practices.
