Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking a Technical Shopfloor Engineer for a 12 month contract based in Broughton. The role offers £40.13ph Inside IR35 and an alternating shift pattern: mornings 6am-1:10pm, afternoons 1:30pm-8:40pm.

You will work with a market-leading Defence and Aerospace client, supporting the production team, identifying and solving technical issues, and driving Operational Excellence on the shopfloor while ensuring regulatory compliance and product safety.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the aircraft industry.
• Previous lineside role experience providing support in a fast-paced environment.
• Manufacturing engineering experience.
• Experience working to regulatory requirements and constraints.

Responsibilities

• Accompany the production team / Autonomous Production Team (APT).
• Identify, analyse, and solve technical issues not directly manageable by Operators & FLM.
• Provide an end-to-end perspective at the shopfloor level within the production team / APT.
• Support continuous production enablement by efficiently using available resources & knowledge.
• Contribute to Operational Excellence targets by improving processes.
• Support in identifying non-conformance on the shopfloor.

As the Technical Shopfloor Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:

• Accompany the production team / Autonomous Production Team (APT)
• Supports in identifying, analysing, and solving technical issues not directly manageable by the Operators & First Line Manager (FLM)
• Provides an E2E perspective at the shopfloor level within the production team / APT
• Supports continuous production enablement by efficiently utilising available resources & knowledge
• Contribute to the Operational Excellence targets within your area by adhering to the continuous improvement of operational processes
• Support in identifying Non-Conformance on the shopfloor

Your skillset & experience:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the aircraft industry
• Previous Lineside role experience where support has been provided, and have demonstrated a reaction to issues in a fast-paced environment
