Job summary

Constructive Moves Ltd. in West London / Home Counties is seeking a Technical Services Manager to lead technical services across a portfolio of commercial office fit-out and life science projects. You will coordinate M&E contractors, ensure compliance, and support preconstruction with cost planning and value engineering.

The role requires a degree in a relevant subject, knowledge of JCT contracts, and a proactive, collaborative approach to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a relevant subject.
• Experience in the construction industry and commercial awareness.
• Strong cost planning and value engineering knowledge.
• Confident presenter and communicator with proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical and engineering services across a portfolio of commercial office and life science projects.
• Manage M&E and specialist contractors, monitoring performance against KPIs and service levels.
• Ensure statutory compliance and engineering-related health & safety requirements are maintained.
• Carry out regular technical audits and inspections across the portfolio.
• Review RAMS, permits to work and relevant technical and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Project Managers.
• Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, plant performance and building resilience.
• Manage relationships with clients, occupiers, consultants and sub-contract partners.
