About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Services Manager to join a large Tier 1 main contractor in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of high-profile construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) expertise and a proven track record of managing technical services on large-scale construction schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and coordinate all M&E services from design through to handover.
2. Oversee the integration of building services into overall construction programmes.
3. Manage M&E consultants and subcontractors to ensure compliance with programme, quality, and cost.
4. Review technical submissions and ensure all designs meet the client brief and statutory regulations.
5. Liaise with the project team, architects, and engineers to resolve any design or technical issues.
6. Monitor and report on M&E progress, quality, and performance throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Ensure health & safety standards are maintained across all technical services works.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Technical Services Manager role within the construction sector.
2. Demonstrable experience managing projects of GBP15 million or more, ideally in commercial fit-out projects.
3. In-depth knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical systems and their integration within complex construction environments.
4. Strong understanding of UK building regulations, CDM regulations, and current industry standards.
5. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
6. Degree or equivalent qualification in Building Services, Engineering, or Construction Management (preferred).
