Are you a commercially driven, customer-centric Food Scientist? Do you enjoy building relationships, spotting opportunities, and driving growth? Then join Bunge as our Technical Service Manager for the UK and Nordics!

What You'll Do:

This is not a purely technical role. It's a dynamic, customer-facing position where you'll be on the road, engaging with clients, and identifying new business opportunities. You'll:

  • Build Strong Customer Relationships: Become a trusted adviser to key customers across the UK and Nordics, understanding their needs and anticipating market trends.
  • Drive Business Growth: Proactively identify and qualify new project opportunities, translating customer needs into concrete solutions and revenue.
  • Lead and Deliver: Coordinate a portfolio of impactful customer projects, managing all aspects from sample creation to final product evaluation.
  • Collaborate and Communicate: Act as the key liaison between Bunge and our customers, ensuring collaboration across internal teams (R&D, Production, Quality, Sales).
  • Solve and Innovate: Negotiate specifications, troubleshoot technical challenges, and drive innovative solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Share and Encourage: Coordinate workshops, facilitate training sessions, represent Bunge at industry events, and contribute to the wider technical community.
What You Bring:
  • Commercial Drive: A proven track record of success in ideally a B2B environment, with a strong focus on customer relationship management and business development.
  • Self-Motivated: A proactive individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, able to work independently and effectively manage projects.
  • Customer Focus: A genuine passion for understanding and meeting customer needs.
  • A BSc/MSc in Food Science/Technology/Innovation or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in English at a near-native level is essential. Other European/Nordic languages are advantageous.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively within the UK and Nordics (at least 25%, with potential for higher volumes during peak periods).
