Job summary

Randstad C&P in Fife is hiring a Technical Services Manager to lead HV/LV electrical maintenance for a major facilities contract. This full-time, permanent role focuses on ensuring uptime, safety compliance, and high service levels across assets.

You will manage contract SLAs/KPIs, coordinate with sub-contractors, and lead a site electrical team. Strong leadership, diagnostic and communication skills are essential, along with CAFM proficiency and a clean UK driving license.

Qualifications

Job description

Randstad C&P are currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager in Fife on behalf of a leading FM provider. This a full-time an permanent opportunity.

The Package:

• Competitive salary between £51,000 - £55,000 per annum
• Full-time and permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Duties:

Direct day-to-day HV/LV electrical maintenance and manage contract SLAs/KPIs, using the CAFM system to maintain asset registers and minimise downtime on critical infrastructure.

• Enforce Safe Systems of Work, the Permit to Work scheme, and CDM 2015 regulations while managing statutory risk assessments, audits, and site health and safety standards.
• Oversee external sub-contractors and supply chain procurement, managing RAMS, purchase orders, performance reviews, and additional lifecycle maintenance works.
• Manage Authorised Person (AP) and Competent Person (CP) duty appointments, ensuring technical registers and team training matrices are fully compliant.
• Act as the lead point of contact for NHS Fife staff and client stakeholders, overseeing contract budgets, monthly reporting, and participating in the On-Call Manager rota.
• Lead the site electrical team through day-to-day line management, handling performance reviews, workforce planning with the Service Desk, and updating local operating procedures.

Requirements:

• HNC/HND in an electrical discipline (or fully qualified electrician) with a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in a similar hard services management role.
• Proven leadership capabilities, strong commercial/finance awareness, and excellent communication skills to act as a personable, front-facing client lead.
• Proficient with IT systems and software, including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and CAFM management tools.
• Valid full driving licence and clean Disclosure Scotland vetting.
• Knowledge of healthcare sector operations, ideally with SHTM 06-02/03 technical compliance and LV/HV Authorised/Appointed Person qualifications.
• Practical experience in live-environment project management, as well as working knowledge of confined spaces, fire safety, and lift systems.
