Job summary

Eden Brown is seeking an experienced Technical Services Manager to lead M&E coordination on high-quality London commercial fit-out projects. The role focuses on delivering building services from design to handover, coordinating with design, construction and client teams.

Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical disciplines, a Level 6 engineering qualification, and at least 10 years in the industry (including 2+ years in commercial fit-out) are required for this senior leadership position

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge across Mechanical & Electrical disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
• At least 2 years of commercial fit-out experience.
• Proven experience managing building services / M&E packages.
• Strong design coordination, installation, commissioning and handover understanding.

Responsibilities

• Managing Mechanical & Electrical packages from design through to completion.
• Coordinating M&E subcontractors, consultants and project teams.
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and design information.
• Identifying and resolving M&E coordination and technical issues.
• Managing services installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensuring M&E works meet programme, quality and project requirements.
• Working closely with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams.
• Supporting projects through commissioning, handover and completion.

Technical Services Manager - Commercial Fit-Out

Location: London

An established commercial fit-out contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Technical Services Manager to join its London team.

This is an urgent requirement for a proven TSM / M&E professional with strong knowledge across both Mechanical and Electrical services and demonstrable experience delivering commercial fit-out projects.

The Role

Working alongside the project, design, commercial and construction teams, you will take responsibility for the coordination and delivery of building services across commercial fit-out projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing Mechanical & Electrical packages from design through to completion
• Coordinating M&E subcontractors, consultants and project teams
• Reviewing technical drawings, specifications and design information
• Identifying and resolving M&E coordination and technical issues
• Managing services installation, testing and commissioning
• Ensuring M&E works meet programme, quality and project requirements
• Working closely with clients, consultants and internal delivery teams
• Supporting projects through commissioning, handover and completion

Essential Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Level 6 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong knowledge and experience across both Mechanical & Electrical disciplines
• Minimum 10 years' industry experience
• At least 2 years' commercial fit-out experience
• Proven experience managing building services / M&E packages
• Strong understanding of design coordination, installation, commissioning and handover
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Salary & Package
