EQUANS is seeking a Technical Services Manager to work on behalf of Peel Group in Gloucester. This permanent, full-time role involves working 37.5 hours per week, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsible for overseeing all technical matters related to Plant and Equipment Maintenance on site, ensuring adherence to EQUANS Safety Rules and Procedures by all personnel.
Reporting to the Contract Manager, working closely with the client to ensure maintenance complies with site policies, procedures, and health and safety legislation.
Undertake AP/CP/RP duties as required, including Legionella Management, with in-depth knowledge of onsite engineering plant and systems, acting as the Technical Lead.
Conduct Technical and Quality Audits to ensure compliance with statutory and contractual requirements.
Coordinate with clients and subcontractors on specifications, quotations, and extra works.
Manage health, safety, environmental, and quality aspects of the contract.
Oversee electrical facilities and systems, stay updated on engineering advancements, and advise site staff and management on technical changes.
Assist in technical staff recruitment, carry out assessments, and deputize as Contract Manager when needed.
Serve as a technical contact for clients and site staff, providing guidance on contractor RAMS and technical competencies.
Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and manage technical matters related to plant and equipment maintenance, including upgrades and improvements.
