Job summary

New Look is seeking an IT Infrastructure Analyst to support our technology estate, from stores to cloud and corporate services. You will help ensure secure and scalable infrastructure, resolve incidents and collaborate with project teams to deliver changes in line with ITIL processes.

You’ll manage Microsoft 365 operations, hybrid cloud/on‑prem environments, and end-user computing with MECM and Intune. The role involves on‑call duties and close work with cybersecurity teams.

Qualifications

• Industry standard ITIL and cloud-based infrastructure knowledge required.
• Proven ability to manage both physical and virtual server environments.
• Experience with MFT and secure file transfer workflows.
• Strong diagnostics, problem solving and incident management skills.
• Hands-on with automation, scripting, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and support day-to-day operation of Microsoft 365 platform, ensuring availability and performance.
• Maintain hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments (Azure, AD, Entra ID, DNS).
• Drive automation and efficiency using PowerShell and Intune.
• Administer core infra services (compute, storage, hypervisors).
• Support lifecycle activities: upgrades, patching, certificates, optimization.
• Provide technical support for store and distribution systems, POS, remote access, devices.
• Manage EUC estate via MECM and Intune, ensure security and software deployment.
• Log, triage, and resolve incidents within SLAs; perform root cause analysis.
• Support ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management processes.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and service desk to maintain secure operations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation; participate in 24/7 on-call rota.

Job description

THE ROLE:

As an IT Infrastructure Analyst, you'll support the backbone of New Look's technology estate. From store systems, distribution centres to cloud platforms & corporate services, you'll help ensure our infrastructure is secure, resilient & ready to scale.

You will support & help guide end-users & the IT support teams across Service. Resolving IT infrastructure-related incidents, service requests & problems in a timely & efficient manner in line with Business requirements & liaising with 3rd Parties where appropriate.

You will also work with our Project Teams to deliver new Projects and be able to follow Change Process.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Own and support the day-to-day operation of the Microsoft 365 platform, ensuring availability, performance, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and enhance hybrid infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments, including Azure, Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, Always On VPN, Citrix, SQL Server, Managed File Transfer, backup solutions, patching, and monitoring platforms.
• Drive automation and operational efficiency through scripting and tooling, primarily leveraging PowerShell and Microsoft Intune.
• Administer core infrastructure services spanning physical and virtual environments, including compute, storage, and hypervisors (VMware and Hyper-V).
• Support infrastructure lifecycle activities, including upgrades, patching, certificate management, and platform optimisation.
• Provide technical support for retail and distribution systems, including POS/till builds, patching, remote access solutions, and handheld devices.
• Manage and support the end-user computing (EUC) estate via MECM and Intune, ensuring secure provisioning, policy compliance, and software deployment.
• Log, triage, and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs; perform root cause analysis; and implement preventative measures to improve service reliability.
• Support ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes to restore service quickly, reduce repeat issues, and maintain operational stability.
• Work closely with cybersecurity and service desk teams to maintain secure, compliant, and resilient operations.
• Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation, contributing to team knowledge sharing and operational standards.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota to support business-critical services.

WHO YOU ARE:

Relevant certifications (or equivalent experience):

• Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• ITIL Foundation
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
• Microsoft 365 Fundamentals

• Strong working knowledge of core enterprise technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Entra ID, Windows Server and desktop operating systems, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and infrastructure management services

• Experience with enterprise storage and backup solutions (e.g., IBM, Cohesity) and associated data protection strategies.
• Proven ability to manage and support both physical server infrastructure and virtualisation platforms, including Hyper-V and VMware.
• Hands-on experience with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions and secure file protocols (FTPS/SFTP), including configuration and automation of file transfer workflows.
• Experience with MECM (Config Manager) & Endpoint Manager (Intune)
• Experience with Active Directory Policy (Group Policy) Administration
• Basic Networking skills
• Familiarity with monitoring, automation tools and Powershell.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Experience with Enterprise Anti-Virus solutions
