Tech Recruits Here To Connect is recruiting for four Technical Service Engineer positions based in London. You will service and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV, intercoms, and access control systems across client sites, with a strong emphasis on IT integration and on-site support.

Qualifications

• Solid background in Intruder Alarm, Intercom, CCTV and Access Control systems.

Responsibilities

• On-Site Engineering: attend client sites across London for servicing, maintenance, and training on security systems.
• Provide technical support during client meetings and assist in designing new systems.
• Assess client needs and propose enhancements with colleagues.
• Coordinate with IT networks for integration and performance.
• Work on a 1 in 12-week call-out rota with flexible overtime.

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced and skilled Technical Service Engineers to join our London-based service department. With four positions available, we welcome applications from engineers of all levels—whether you're just starting your career or bringing years of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

On-Site Engineering: You will attend client sites across London to carry out servicing, maintenance, customer support, and training on Intruder Alarm, Intercom, CCTV, and Access Control systems.

System Expertise: Your deep understanding of commonly installed hardware and software will be crucial in ensuring the effective performance and integration of our security systems, particularly with IT networks.

Client Support & Sales: You will provide technical support during client meetings and assist in the design of new systems, offering your expertise to recommend and integrate security solutions.

Consultation & Recommendations: You’ll assess client needs, propose enhancements, and collaborate closely with colleagues to implement these recommendations.

Flexible Workload: Benefit from a work schedule that fits your lifestyle. With a 1 in 12-week call-out rota and the option to take on as much or as little overtime as you like, you’ll enjoy a balanced work-life dynamic.

Qualifications & Skills:

We are seeking engineers at all levels of experience—whether you’re a junior looking to grow or a senior engineer ready to lead. A solid background in Intruder Alarm, Intercom, CCTV, and Access Control systems is essential. 1 of Gallagher, Genetec, Lenel or C-cure would be great!. Strong practical engineering skills with a focus on on-site service delivery. The ability to integrate security systems with IT networks. Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with both clients and colleagues. Relevant certifications such as ECS Card, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos awareness, or Tavcom training are a plus.
