Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd in Cheshire East is seeking a Technical Service Chemist for a permanent role. You will coordinate technical service activities, conduct laboratory testing and provide customer-focused technical support across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry/materials science background with industrial lab experience, strong data interpretation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Materials Science or related discipline.
• Proven industrial experience in laboratory testing, technical service, quality control or R&D.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise and coordinate technical service requests to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
• Support customer requirements and short-term product development activities.
• Conduct laboratory testing safely, accurately and in line with procedures and standards.
• Ensure testing data is recorded, analysed and communicated effectively.
• Coordinate and support production and customer trials as needed.
• Work with technical teams and stakeholders to align priorities and resources.
• Assist investigations into quality issues and customer enquiries; provide recommendations.
