With increased investment in technical SEO, we are committed to expanding our team and capabilities in this area. You will conduct comprehensive site audits, identify and resolve complex technical issues (including crawl errors, indexing challenges, and site speed optimizations), and implement best practices for structured data and mobile usability.

Additionally, staying informed about industry trends and algorithm updates will be crucial to maintaining and improving our organic search rankings as we scale our technical SEO efforts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Site Health and Audits: Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to assess website health and identify areas for improvement. Resolve technical issues at scale, including crawl errors, broken links, and indexing problems, ensuring optimal site performance.
  2. Crawl Budget Optimization: Efficiently manage and optimize crawl budget to maximize indexation of high-value pages.
  3. Testing and Performance Gains: Lead split testing initiatives to drive performance improvements. Own the testing roadmap, ensuring a consistent and strategic testing schedule.
  4. Internal Linking Strategy: Develop and implement an effective internal linking strategy to enhance organic performance, considering seasonality and commercial value data.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the voice of SEO within the organization, working closely with developers and product teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new website features.
  6. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze technical SEO data to inform on-page requirements and deliver actionable recommendations for development.
  7. Training and Support: Provide SEO training and support to other members of the marketing team to enhance overall SEO knowledge and implementation.
  8. Industry Trends and Algorithm Updates: Stay current with the latest trends and developments in technical SEO, ensuring proactive adaptation to algorithm changes.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
  1. Traffic Growth: Increase in organic traffic through technical optimizations and testing.
  2. Performance Safeguarding: Proactively identify and mitigate potential technical issues to maintain consistent site performance during and after feature launches.
  3. Technical Site Health: Continuous improvement in overall technical site health metrics.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and training.
  • Experience working on large scale website would be an advantage.
