Role: Technical Security Specialist

Locations: Manchester, Leeds, Bristol, Halifax, Edinburgh

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

About the role

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing systems against internal security frameworks and baseline build requirements
  • Using DevOps tools to automate security artefact review and approval
  • Collaborating with Cloud Security Engineers to promote reuse of security artefacts
  • Configuring policies on Cloud Security portals
  • Understanding the impact of technology roadmaps on security artefacts
  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing Cyber Security Services, including procedures, processes, and documentation
About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong technical knowledge across Cyber Security and Cloud Security (GCP, Azure)
  • Hands-on experience with coding and scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash
  • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Self-sufficient, eager to learn and deliver
  • Outcome-focused with attention to detail
  • Experience in automation and secure-by-design principles
