GAP Group Ltd. is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive survey hire revenue across the South West region. You will report to the Technical Sales Manager and present to senior accounts, promoting our survey equipment offerings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maximise survey hire revenue from existing major accounts and win new business.
• Deliver sales presentations to senior management at major accounts.
• Attend depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering.
• Coordinate with Regional Sales Managers to pro-actively promote hire opportunities.
• Travel regularly across the South West region to cover sites.

The Role

GAP Survey & Safety Hire & Sales offers one of the largest ranges of survey & safety equipment and accessories in the industry. From range of equipment including Robotic and GPS equipment, the division has everything our customers in the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors need.

What You'll Be Doing:

Reporting directly to the Technical Sales Manager, the Technical Sales Representative (TSR) will be responsible for maximising Survey hire revenue opportunities from existing major account customer and winning new business. This will include delivering sales presentations to our major account customers at a senior management level and attending depot/customer trade days to promote our product offering.

The TSR will also work with various stakeholders across the GAP Group network including Regional Sales Managers and their sales teams, to ensure pro-active promotion of hire opportunities for Survey equipment within their existing customer base.

PLEASE NOTE - this role will cover sites within the South West Region and therefore the successful candidate should be available for regular travel.

About You

What We're Looking For:

• Significant experience working in an area sales role within the Survey & Safety or Hire industry would be preferred however we would consider candidates from any sales background
• A proven track record in exceeding sales targets and generating revenue growth by maximising opportunities from existing customers and winning new business
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• An effective negotiator and problem solver with the ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritise workload
• Proficient in MS Office packages including Excel and Word, and CRM systems
• Driving Licence (Essential)
