Job summary

My client, a global specialty chemicals group, is seeking a Technical Sales Manager focused on silicone elastomers and specialty materials. You will own a broad UK territory, engage with design engineers and procurement, and drive specification-led sales across automotive, electronics and aerospace sectors.

This remote / field sales role includes travel within the UK and occasional Europe, with a bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven technical B2B sales track record in silicone elastomers.
• Confident discussing applications with engineers (materials selection, cure chemistry).
• Experience owning pricing and margins; self-starter with autonomous home-based work across a wide territory.

Responsibilities

• Win new business and grow existing accounts in target markets (automotive/EV, electronics, aerospace).
• Lead consultative, specification-led sales from enquiry to approval.
• Manage distribution partners and direct accounts; own pricing and terms within guidelines.
• Maintain CRM activity, pipeline and forecasting; support territory planning and market intelligence.
• Represent the company at meetings, partner reviews and trade shows (UK events, Europe).
