About the job

Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you will actively seek new business for Remanufactured Compressors, New Motors & Repairs, through both new & existing customer bases across multiple business sectors including Food Processing, Manufacturing, and Cold Storage.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Generating new business from initial lead to order input for the Remanufactured Compressors, Motors & Repairs business.
  2. Maintain close contact with the business market, promoting business growth, gathering and reporting market data.
  3. Formulate Sales and Marketing Strategy for the target region in cooperation with Senior Management.
  4. Ensure that quotations are submitted and followed up in a timely and professional manner, maximizing quotation conversion.
  5. Ensure that customer requirements are correctly interpreted, and contract terms and conditions are fully understood and properly negotiated.
  6. Conduct sales negotiations within specified limits of authority.
  7. Assist, when necessary, in the resolution of queries relating to debts, and with cash collection.
  8. Support the business from a technical perspective ensuring customer’s requirements are interpreted correctly to achieve its “first time fix” objectives.
  9. Respect and maintain company confidentiality.
  10. Comply with requirements of Health and Safety practices as outlined in the Company Health and Safety Procedures.
  11. Submit all required paperwork within allocated time frame.

  3. Project management skills; strong planning and organizational skills; ability to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities.
  4. Good control of sales and contract management processes.
  5. Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Required Experience

  1. Experienced Sales Manager with Mechanical Engineering Qualification HND or above.
  2. Proven track record in external sales in the Mechanical Engineering Sector.
