Job summary

Mercury Hampton Ltd, a leading manufacturer of flow control products, seeks a proven technical sales professional to drive growth across industrial markets in the North of England. You will lead technical support for customers, provide product guidance, and manage key accounts to win new business.

The role is home based with UK-wide coverage north of Birmingham, offering a salary of £45,000–£55,000 plus a £60,000 OTE and executive benefits including a high-spec company car or generous car

Qualifications

• Proven track record in technical sales in industrial markets.
• Commercially savvy with a strong technical background, either in engineering or a scientific degree/discipline, or hands-on engineering experience.
• Understanding of fluid handling, flow control principles, and corrosion-resistant materials.
• Experience selling to the chemicals industry, petrochem, water, and water purification markets preferred.
• Dynamic, inspirational, and blue-sky thinking sales professional.

Responsibilities

• Sell world-leading flow control products into industrial markets across the North of England.
• Lead technical support for customers, providing advice and product application guidance.
• Drive sales, manage and support existing key accounts, focus on business development and new client acquisition.
