Unknown company is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales across the UK via a home-based model. You will manage existing accounts and identify new opportunities, delivering design-in solutions for OEMs in aerospace, industrial machinery, robotics, packaging, logistics and rail.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 3 years in technical sales, with strong technical aptitude and proactive business development.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in a technical sales environment (internal or field-based).
Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate engineering concepts clearly.
Proactive, ambitious and self-motivated approach to business development.
Degree (or HND) in an Engineering discipline is required.

Responsibilities

Maximise sales from an established customer base and develop new business opportunities.
Deliver a design-in technical sales process with OEMs in sectors such as Aerospace, Industrial Machinery, Robotics, Packaging, Logistics and Rail.
Provide technical guidance, product expertise and solution-based consultation throughout the sales cycle.
Build strong relationships with engineering, procurement and technical teams.
Manage your own schedule in a home-based role, travelling across the UK to visit customers.
Attend occasional meetings at the company.uk office.
