About the Team:

We are seeking a Technical Sale Engineer to support in EMEA the Dassault Systèmes business related to Manufacturing Science and Technology in the Pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their technical experience in a commercial business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and refine customer's critical business issues to be able to strategically position the value of our multi-brand manufacturing offering against competition.
  • Manage technical software evaluations, workshops and demonstrations.
  • Lead technical discussions around commercial manufacturing strategy, including detailed implications of our solution for the shop floor.
  • Support business development activities, including outreach strategy and messaging.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to business and informatics representatives, from a user to a C-level perspective.
  • Drive responses regarding Request for Information as well as Request for Proposals (RFI and RFP).

Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills

  • BS, M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Pharmaceutical or related fields.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) is required.
  • Experience selling enterprise software following a structured, value-based sales process is desirable.
  • Fluency in English is essential and German and/or French language skills would be extremely beneficial.
  • Must be able to travel (30%), including overnight and international travel.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses.
