Job summary

The Recruitment Group is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for a UK-wide role with a specialist salt spray, corrosion and environmental test chambers manufacturer. You will develop new business, manage existing accounts and take opportunities from enquiry to order while travelling across the UK to meet customers.

This is a customer-facing engineering sales role requiring a technical background, strong communication skills and the ability to tailor solutions for demanding customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical or engineering sales.
• Technical/engineering background or proven experience selling technical products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel UK.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities across the UK.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts.
• Identify prospective customers through proactive business development and market research.
• Understand customer applications, testing requirements and technical challenges.
• Recommend suitable environmental testing solutions.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals and presentations.
• Conduct customer visits, site surveys and technical discussions.
• Work with engineering, production and service teams to develop customer solutions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity.
• Attend exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
• Build relationships with engineers and senior decision-makers.
• Meet agreed sales, revenue and margin targets.
